Greens NSW MP to visit north-east NSW - 28/29 April
Greens NSW MP David Shoebridge will be visiting north-east over the coming weekend, April 28-29.
David visits the north-east
He will predominantly be in Coffs Harbour on Saturday and Lennox Head on Sunday. His activities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Meeting with local residents to discuss to impact of the government's proposed changes to the workers compensation system in NSW.
  • Discussing proposed legislation to secure justice for victims of sexual abuse by members of the Catholic Church.
  • Attending local government workshops with north-east NSW Greens Councillors in Coffs Harbour and Lennox Head.
  • Meeting with representatives of the Aboriginal community in Bellingen.
  • Visiting the site of an inappropriate development at Lennox Head with Ballina Councillor Jeff Johnson.
David Shoebridge is the Greens NSW spokesperson for Forestry, Local Government, Planning, Heritage, Industrial Relations, Firearms, Police and Justice, and is available for interview over the course of the weekend.
